Tamara is the Head of Innovation at the Department for International Development – leading the UK’s work to end extreme poverty and to address humanitarian crisis. She is a new breed in the civil service. She joins from 20+ years working in the private sector in design, strategy, and innovation consulting and as a founder and director of a number of impact ventures. She has worked with corporations such as P&G, Orange, Nokia, and Teleónica, and startups such as Trillion Fund, OZOlab, and most recently Product Health, to unlock new market opportunity, new product development, and new business models. Tamara was named one of “35 Outstanding Businesswomen Under the Age of 35” by World Business Magazine and INSEAD.
